Fortres Central Control v4.1 Remote Administration Fortres Central Control is a complete remote administration tool for Fortres 101 and Clean Slate.
Fortres CC gives administrators the ability to remotely alter security parameters affecting the secure file system and secure registry, execute any program on any machine, as well as reboot, logoff, or shutdown any machine on a network.

Quick-n-Easy Administration

Fortres Central Control now allows group security configuration using drag-and-drop features. Create your users, create your directories, drop your users in your directories and set the security parameters for each directory. It is that simple. Each time the user logs on his/her security settings are automatically initialized and in place.

Logout The logout option is included to offer more efficient use of time and control of other computers. The logout can be executed by simply specifying the computers the administrator wishes to have logout and selecting the logout option.		Reboot The reboot option allows for any and all computers on a network to be shutdown and restarted from one location. The administrator simply highlights the computers of choice from the Clients list and selects the reboot option.
Shutdown The shutdown option allows for any or all computers on the network to be turned off. This feature is specifically convenient for use in a lab with multiple workstations. The administrator no longer has to spend the time physically walking up to each computer to shut it down at the end of the day. Every computer can be shutdown in a matter of seconds.		Refresh The refresh option is a method of updating information for the administrator. Continuously throughout the day, computers are being shutdown and rebooted. The number of computers which are on or connected to the network is constantly changing. The refresh options allows the administrator to view all the computers currently running on the network by simply clicking the Refresh button.
Disable/Enable This feature is very useful for disabling the security on a large number of computer for software installation, configuration maintenance, etc.		Edit Fortres CC allows the administrator to edit the security features of any and all of the computers on the network on one local computer. Once changes have been made with the Edit Screen, Fortres CC will apply the changes to all selected computers.
Unload In some occasions Fortres 101 may need to be removed entirely from memory on certain machines on the network. If this is the case, the unload option will remove Fortres 101 from memory on the computers specified by the administrator. To re-load Fortres simply restart the machines.		Execute In some situations, administrators like to have one program running on many different computers at one time. This is often used during demonstrations or when an administrator is teaching many people how to use a certain program. The execute option allows for the administrator to use a single computer to open a program on any or all of the computers on a network.
