Rock SNMPc v7 Castle Rock SNMPc Enterprise
uses a modular architecture that is
scalable from medium to very large networks.
Using distributed database technology provides a
high performance platform that allows SNMPc
components to be deployed in a variety of
scenarios, including workgroup, domain, and
manager-of-managers configurations.
|

|
SNMPc Workgroup edition
is ideally suited for small to medium sized
networks. Based on the Enterprise edition, it has the
same user interface, but reduced functionality, see the comparison
chart...
SNMPc OnLine is
an advanced reporting engine for SNMPc Enterprise. With a
dynamic web based console and flexible presentation
options, SNMPc OnLine gives you unprecedented network
visibility across your entire network infrastructure.

Servers maintain configuration databases, perform
event actions, and generate scheduled reports.
Polling Agents discover network topology, poll
device status, save historical statistics, and
generate alarms. Consoles provide the user
interface for servers and polling agents. Backup
server provides redundancy in monitoring
mission-critical networks. |
| |
|
|
| Besides
auto-discovery, SNMPc also supports a multi-level
hierarchical map. It can automatically lay out
each network as a tree, ring or snaked bus
topology. |

The Enterprise
Edition supports remote access over LAN with the
Remote Console. In addition, a SNMPc Java Console
is available for low speed WAN lines, making it
well suited for use by outsourced Network Service
and Help Desk personnel. Also included is a JAVA
proxy Telnet application for configuration of
Cisco routers and other devices. |
| |
|
|
| SNMPc
automatically generates scheduled daily, weekly,
and monthly statistic reports. Report formats
include graph, bar chart, distribution, and
summary, and can be exported to a variety of
destinations, including printers, files, or a WEB
server. |
|
 |
| |
|
|
 |
|
SNMPc can
regularly poll WEB, FTP, SMTP and TELNET
services, as well as two user-selectable TCP
ports. It saves response time and percent failure
information to help you manage quality of
service. |
| |

SNMPc supports
real-time displays of MIB variable in tabular or
graphical format. These grpahs can include
multiple devices and variables from different
standard and private MIBs. |
| |
|
|
| In addition to
the built-in MIB compiler, SNMPc also supports
MIB expressions to show derived information. You
can also create custom tables and menus for your
convenience. |
|
 |
| |
|
|
 |
|
SNMPc can alert
you via pager or email whenever an important
event occurs. |
| |
|
|
| SNMPc includes
support for dozens of private MIB devices,
e.g. Cisco, 3Com and any RMON-1 probe. |

SNMPc OnLine
provides out of the box automated
collection and presentation of pre-canned reports
that deliver key network metrics regardless of
vendor or geographic location. Seamless dashboard
style web pages cover SLA metrics such as
availability and latency, device types such as
routers, switches and servers, and vendor
specific information for manufacturers including
Cisco. |
